1. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position.
2. Wait for the key to be recognised by the vehicle. This may take a few seconds.
3. Once the key is recognised, press and hold the "unlock" button on the key for approximately 10 seconds.
4. While holding the "unlock" button, press the "lock" button once.
5. Release both buttons and remove the key from the ignition.
6. Wait for approximately 30 seconds, then reinsert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position.
The key should now be reset and should function normally.
