2. Detach any power or lock cables. If the door handle has been equipped with power or lock cables, detach these cables with the help of a screwdriver.
3. Remove the window sill trim. Pull out the window sill strip, starting from one end and moving towards the other. Lift and pull it vertically to pry it out.
4. Locate and remove the door panel bolts. There are a total of seven bolts. To access these, remove the rubber stopper in the door's upper corner and the black triangle right below the side mirror cover. Three bolts are located beneath the cover and four others beneath the rubber stoppers.
5. Remove the bottom corner of the panel. Start prying the panel off, starting from the bottom corner. Work your way around the panel, prying it off the plastic clips that hold it in place.
6. Lift the door panel up and off. Once all the clips have been released, lift the door panel up and off the door.
7. Disconnect any remaining electrical connectors. There might be one or two electrical connectors, such as the one for a separate tweeter, that you need to disconnect.
