Gather the necessary tools and parts:
-New headlight bulbs (H1 for low beam, H3 for high beam)
-Flat-head screwdriver
-Replacement bulbs
Steps:
1. Park the vehicle in a well-lit area and turn off the engine.
2. Open the hood of the Lexus 300.
3. Locate the back cover of the headlight assembly. It is usually held in place by a few screws or bolts.
4. Remove the screws or bolts securing the back cover and take off the cover.
5. You will now see the headlight bulb. It is held in place by a metal clip or retainer ring.
6. Use the flat-head screwdriver to release the metal clip or retainer ring and carefully remove the old headlight bulb.
7. Take the new headlight bulb and insert it into the headlight assembly. Make sure the bulb is seated correctly and the metal clip or retainer ring is securely in place.
8. Reattach the back cover of the headlight assembly and secure it with the screws or bolts.
9. Repeat steps 3-8 for the other headlight, if needed.
10. Close the hood of the Lexus 300.
