1. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position, but do not start the engine.
2. Find the "check engine" or "emission" warning light on your dashboard.
3. Press and hold the "Trip Reset" button on your instrument cluster for approximately 10 seconds.
4. While continuing to hold the "Trip Reset" button, turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position.
5. Release the "Trip Reset" button.
6. Start the engine and allow it to run for a few minutes.
If the emission warning light remains illuminated after following these steps, it is recommended that you have your vehicle diagnosed by a qualified mechanic.
