How do you change the wiper motor on a 2002 a4?

To replace the wiper motor on a 2002 Audi A4, follow these steps:

Locate the wiper motor:

1. Open the hood of the Audi A4.

2. Locate the wiper motor assembly. It is usually mounted on the firewall beneath the windshield.

Remove the wiper arms:

3. Disconnect the wiper linkage by prying the plastic connector pieces off carefully with a flat-head screwdriver.

4. Remove the two nuts holding each wiper arm to the motor assembly.

5. Remove the wiper arms and blades from the vehicle.

Disconnect wiring harnesses:

6. Locate the wiring harnesses connected to the wiper motor assembly.

7. Press down on the locking tab and disconnect the wiring harnesses.

Remove the wiper motor mount screws:

8. Use a wrench to remove the bolts that secure the wiper motor to the mounting bracket.

9. Lift the wiper motor assembly out of the engine bay.

Install the new wiper motor:

10. Position the new wiper motor in the mounting bracket, and secure it with the bolts you removed in step 8.

11. Reconnect the wiring harnesses to the wiper motor assembly.

12. Reinstall the wiper arms and blades.

Test the wiper motor:

13. Turn the ignition on and test the wiper motor by operating the wiper switch on the dashboard.
