1. Insert the correct key into the ignition.
2. Turn the key to the "On" position.
3. Within five seconds, press the "Valet" button on the driver's side footwell.
4. The alarm system will disarm and the dome light will come on.
If you do not have the "Valet" button, you can also disarm the alarm system by:
1. Insert the key into the driver's door lock.
2. Turn the key to the "Lock" position and hold it there for at least 15 seconds.
3. The alarm system will disarm and the dome light will come on.
Note that if the alarm system is triggered, it will sound for 30 seconds and then reset itself. If you do not disarm the alarm system within five minutes of it being triggered, it will sound again for 30 seconds and then reset itself.
