If you’ve been a customer at any of our A-1 Custom locations, or if you’re a Nick Reed/KSGF listener – You’ve probably heard our show on Saturdays from 10A-11A each weekend.
Our Operations Manager Dustin Atwood, has been hosting a highly educational, yet fun, radio show just for listeners who want to learn more about their vehicles and the repairs they require. The A-1 Custom Car Care radio show has been on-air for over five years. Usually, Dustin hosts solo, his lifelong automotive industry experience, 30+ ASE certifications, and exposure to some of the toughest car problems in the Ozarks make him uniquely qualified.
However, there’s a new face, or voice, on the show recently. The new co-host Sarah Myers is a fantastic addition! Sarah has been working with KSGF since 2017, and helps produce several shows, including the Nick Reed show and the A-1 Custom Car Care show. A regular on ‘Mornings with Nick Reed,’ Sarah’s quick wit, and inquisitive nature are a great match to the show. Dustin and Sarah are often able to present a more complete picture of highly technical concepts, their interactions let listeners break through all the automotive jargon, and understand what really goes on when a car is being repaired.
The show typically focuses on ways to keep your vehicle OUT of the shop, and how to choose the RIGHT repair shop if you do suffer a vehicle breakdown. They typically advise which maintenance services may make the most impact for your dollar spent, what repair services to seek in specific situations, and how to find a repair shop with award-winning level customer service.
