How do you reset fault codes on Renault scenic?

Resetting the Fault Codes on a Renault Scenic

1. Turn the ignition key to the "On" position, but do not start the engine.

2. Find the "Diagnostic Trouble Codes" (DTC) button. It is usually located near the steering wheel.

3. Press and hold the DTC button until the "Check Control" light comes on. This may take a few seconds.

4. Release the DTC button and the "Check Control" light will start to flash.

5. Count the number of times the light flashes. This number corresponds to the fault code.

6. Repeat steps 3 to 5 until all fault codes have been displayed.

7. Once all fault codes have been displayed, press and hold the DTC button until the "Check Control" light turns off.

8. Turn the ignition key to the "Off" position.

The fault codes have now been reset.

NOTE: If the fault codes reappear, it is recommended that you take your car to a qualified mechanic for diagnosis and repair.
