1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Chock the front wheels to prevent the vehicle from rolling.
3. Locate the brake fluid reservoir under the hood of the vehicle.
4. Remove the cap from the brake fluid reservoir.
5. Use a C-clamp or a large wrench to compress the brake caliper piston.
6. Insert the C-clamp or wrench between the brake pad and the caliper piston.
7. Gradually turn the C-clamp or wrench to compress the piston until it is fully depressed.
8. Repeat steps 5-7 for the other rear brake caliper piston.
9. Once the pistons are fully depressed, you can remove the old brake pads and install the new ones.
10. Replace the cap on the brake fluid reservoir.
11. Pump the brake pedal several times to seat the new brake pads.
12. Test the brakes to make sure they are working properly.
NOTE: Be sure to wear safety glasses when working on brakes, as brake fluid can be harmful to the eyes.
