1. Ensure that the ignition key is in the "OFF" position.
2. Locate the diagnostic plug under the hood.
3. On the 320i series, the diagnostic plug typically resides within the engine bay attached to the fusebox housing.
4. Use a jumper wire or a paper clip to connect pin 7 to pin 19 of the diagnostic plug.
5. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position without starting the engine.
6. Wait for the oil service light to start blinking.
7. Once the light starts blinking, turn the ignition switch back to the "OFF" position.
8. Disconnect the jumper wire from the diagnostic plug.
9. Start the engine and check if the oil service light has reset successfully.
Note: If the steps above do not work, you may need to use a diagnostic tool or visit a BMW dealership to reset the oil service light.
