- Torx T30 screwdriver
- Steering wheel puller
- Socket wrench set
- Flat-head screwdriver
Instructions:
1. Disconnect the battery. This is important to prevent any electrical accidents from happening while you are working on the steering wheel.
2. Remove the two Torx T30 screws that secure the airbag cover to the steering wheel.
3. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry open the airbag cover and release the clips that hold it in place.
4. Disconnect the airbag connector. Be careful not to drop the airbag, as it is a sensitive component.
5. Use the socket wrench to remove the nut that secures the steering wheel to the steering column.
6. Use the steering wheel puller to remove the steering wheel from the steering column.
7. Reverse the steps to install the new steering wheel.
