How do you calibrate a apaseal wheel balancer?

To calibrate an apaseal wheel balancer:

1. Ensure that the wheel balancer is on level ground and free from any obstructions or vibrations.

2. Mount one of the calibration wheels (supplied) on the balancer shaft, ensuring that it is centered and secure.

3. Switch on the power and select the calibration mode on the control panel.

4. The balancer will automatically start to rotate the calibration wheel.

5. Wait until the balancer has completed several full rotations.

6. Select the measurement units (grams or ounces) on the control panel.

7. Place a known weight (supplied) on the calibration wheel at a specified distance from the center of rotation (indicated on the wheel itself).

8. The balancer will automatically display the measured weight.

9. Repeat steps 7-8 with different weights at different positions on the calibration wheel.

10. Adjust the calibration settings on the control panel until the displayed weights match the actual weights.

11. Save the new calibration settings and power off the wheel balancer.

12. Remove the calibration weights and wheel, then mount the customer's wheel on the balancer for servicing.

Note: Calibration procedures may vary slightly between different apaseal wheel balancers, so always refer to the manufacturer's instructions for the specific model you have. Regular calibration of the wheel balancer is recommended to ensure accurate measurements and results.
