Can you rent a car or house under the for lease option?

You cannot rent a car under the for lease option. For lease options are only available for purchasing a car or house. Under this arrangement, you sign a contract with the owner to pay a monthly rent for a certain period of time, typically 1-3 years. During this period, you have the option to purchase the car or house at a predetermined price. If you decide not to exercise the purchase option, you must return the asset at the end of the lease term.
