1. Turn on the ignition and then turn it back to off.
2. Press the valet/programming switch 3 times within 10 seconds.
3. The LED will glow red and illuminate to indicate that Valet Mode is enabled.
When Valet Mode is enabled:
The alarm is still armed, but the following features are temporarily disabled:
- Shock sensor
- Door triggers
- Motion sensor (if applicable)
- Glass breakage sensor (if applicable)
This allows you to leave your vehicle with a valet or other person without giving them full access to the vehicle's security system.
To disable Valet Mode, simply press the valet/programming switch once. The LED will turn green to indicate Valet Mode is disabled.
