1. A valid driver's license or identification card issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).
2. Proof of ownership of the vehicle, such as a vehicle title, manufacturer's statement of origin, or a properly completed and notarized Application for Texas Certificate of Title (Form VTR-130-U).
3. Proof of residency in Texas, such as a current Texas driver's license, a recent utility bill, or a lease agreement.
4. Proof of vehicle insurance. In Texas, you are required to have liability insurance that meets certain minimum coverage limits. You can provide proof of insurance by presenting an insurance card or a binder from your insurance company.
Without providing all the required documents, including proof of insurance, your vehicle registration will not be processed, and you won't be able to legally operate the vehicle on public roads in Texas.
