1. Locate the spark plug cap on the top of the engine. It is a black rubber cap with a wire attached to it.
2. Pull the spark plug cap off of the spark plug.
3. Use a spark plug wrench to loosen and remove the spark plug from the engine.
4. Inspect the spark plug for wear or damage. If the electrodes are worn or damaged, replace the spark plug.
5. Screw the new spark plug into the engine by hand until it is snug.
6. Use the spark plug wrench to tighten the spark plug until it is snug.
7. Replace the spark plug cap.
The spark plug on a 2002 Honda Rubicon is located on the top of the engine, just above the exhaust pipe. It is a black rubber cap with a wire attached to it. To access the spark plug, you will need to remove the spark plug cap and use a spark plug wrench to loosen and remove the spark plug from the engine.
