Will a 1999 hood fit on 2001 silverado?

A 1999 hood will likely not fit a 2001 Silverado. While they're relatively close in model years, GM made styling changes between 1999 and 2001 that affected the body, including the hood. The dimensions and mounting points are probably different enough to prevent a direct swap.
