1. Locate the bonnet release lever:
It is usually situated either on the driver’s side footwell or on the side of the dashboard, near the driver's seat.
2. Pull the release lever:
Once you have located the bonnet release lever, pull it towards you to release the bonnet catch.
3. Lift the bonnet:
After the latch is disengaged, you should be able to lift the bonnet by grabbing the edge closest to you and carefully lifting it upwards.
For some 307 cc models equipped with a secondary safety catch, you might need to press a small tab or button while lifting the bonnet.
4. Keep the bonnet open:
Prop the bonnet open with the bonnet stay rod, which is usually located in the engine compartment.
Note: For a 307 cc Peugeot with an electronic hood release, you can pull the bonnet release lever and the bonnet should pop up slightly. Then, press down on the bonnet to release it completely.
