Where is the transmission dip stick in a 99 Ford Taurus?

The 1999 Ford Taurus does not have a transmission dipstick. Automatic transmissions in that model year and many others since then check transmission fluid level indirectly, usually through a specific port or by having the level checked by a mechanic with specialized equipment. There's no dipstick to locate.
