When did ford change 302 in F150 from carb to fuel injected?
Ford didn't use the 302 (5.0L) in the F-150 continuously. The transition from carburetor to fuel injection for the 5.0L V8 in F-series trucks (including the F-150) was gradual and happened over several model years, beginning in the mid-to-late 1980s. There wasn't one single year where all 302s in F-150s switched. The changeover period overlapped. By 1990, fuel injection was almost universally standard on the 5.0L in the F-150.
