How do you open the hood of 2012 Chevy Equinox?

There's a hood release lever inside the car, usually located near the driver's side footwell, sometimes under the dashboard. It's often a small lever that you pull. Once you pull it, you'll need to go to the front of the car and usually lift a small latch located near the front center of the grille or under the Chevy emblem. This will release the hood.
