Where is the thermostat housing on a 2001 dodge stratus RT?

The thermostat housing on a 2001 Dodge Stratus RT is located on the top of the engine, at the rear of the engine block. It's generally near the firewall and can be somewhat difficult to access. You'll likely need to remove some components (like some hoses and perhaps the upper radiator hose) to get a good view and access to it for replacement.
