Where is the rverse light switch on 1996 dodge ram 2500diesel?

There isn't a dedicated "reverse light switch" in the same way you might find in some cars. On a 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel, the reverse lights are controlled by a switch built *into* the transmission itself. This switch is activated when the transmission is shifted into reverse. Therefore, there's no separate switch to locate and replace.
