The 2006 Ford Freestar doesn't have a button to individually turn traction control (TC) on or off. The system is automatically engaged and works in conjunction with the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). If the traction control system detects wheel slippage, it will automatically reduce engine power and/or apply braking to individual wheels to regain traction.
There's no switch to disable it. If you're experiencing issues with the traction control system, it's best to have your Ford Freestar checked by a mechanic. A malfunctioning system could be a safety hazard.
