1. Disconnect the battery. This will help to prevent accidental electrical shocks.
2. Remove the steering wheel. This can be done by removing the bolts that hold it in place.
3. Remove the turn signal switch. This can be done by removing the screws that hold it in place.
4. Remove the lock cylinder. This can be done by removing the retaining pin.
5. Remove the ignition switch. This can be done by removing the bolts that hold it in place.
When reinstalling the ignition switch, ensure the lock cylinder is correctly aligned. If it is not, the key will not be able to turn the switch.
