Materials:
* Two 1/2" heater hoses
* Heater core
* O-rings
* Coolant
Instructions:
1. Jack up your vehicle and place jack stands under the front end to securely support it.
2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
3. Remove the air filter housing by loosening the hose clamps and pulling it up and off.
4. Remove the coolant overflow hose by squeezing the pinch clamp and pulling it off.
5. Remove the upper and lower radiator hoses by squeezing the pinch clamps and pulling them off.
6. Remove the heater hoses from the heater core by squeezing the pinch clamps and pulling them off.
7. Use a 13mm socket and ratchet to remove the four bolts holding the heater core cover.
8. Remove the heater core cover.
9. Use a 1/4" socket and ratchet to remove the two screws holding the heater core in place.
10. Remove the heater core.
11. Inspect the heater core for leaks and cracks. If it is damaged, replace it.
12. Reinstall the heater core and make sure it is securely seated.
13. Replace the heater core screws.
14. Replace the heater core cover and secure it with the four 13mm bolts.
15. Reconnect the heater hoses to the heater core.
16. Replace the upper radiator hose and secure it with the pinch clamp.
17. Fill the car's coolant reservoir using the mix specified in the owner's manual.
18. Tighten the drain plug.
19. Replace the water pump or housing if necessary.
20. Replace the belts and re-tighten any loosened nuts and bolts.
Test your work by running the car and checking for leaks.
