1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Relieve the fuel system pressure.
3. Drop the fuel tank
4. Remove the lock ring that holds the fuel pump in place.
5. Pull the fuel pump out of the fuel tank.
6. Disconnect the fuel line and electrical connector from the fuel pump.
7. Install the new fuel pump in reverse order.
Additional tips:
- When removing the lock ring, be careful not to damage the fuel tank.
-When disconnecting the fuel line, be prepared for a small amount of fuel to spill.
-Be sure to install the new fuel pump correctly so that it does not leak.
