1. Open the hood of your Camry.
2. Locate the air filter housing. It is a black plastic box located on the driver's side of the engine compartment.
3. Unlatch the air filter housing cover by pressing down on the release tabs on either side of the cover.
4. Remove the old air filter from the housing.
5. Inspect the old air filter for dirt and debris. If it is dirty, it is time to replace it.
6. Insert the new air filter into the housing. Make sure that the filter is properly seated in the housing.
7. Close the air filter housing cover and latch it into place.
8. Close the hood of your Camry.
You have now successfully replaced the air filter on your 2002 Toyota Camry.
