Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) is a subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Company. It is the second largest car manufacturer in India after Maruti Suzuki. HMIL manufactures cars at its two plants in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The first plant, located in Sriperumbudur, has a production capacity of 680,000 units per year. The second plant, located in Irrungattukottai, has a production capacity of 300,000 units per year.
