What Mitsubishi means?
Mitsubishi is a Japanese word that translates to "three rhombuses". The Mitsubishi logo was created in 1870 and is based on the crest of the Iwasaki family, the founders of Mitsubishi. The logo consists of three red diamonds arranged in a horizontal line, with the top diamond being slightly larger than the other two. The three diamonds represent the three companies that merged to form Mitsubishi: the Tosa Clan, the Iwasaki Clan, and the Yataro Iwasaki Company. Mitsubishi has since become a global conglomerate with interests in a wide range of industries, including automotive, shipbuilding, and electronics.
