Step 1: Remove the plastic engine cover
* To do this simply unclip the plastic clips that hold it in place.
Step 2: Locate the ignition coil
* The ignition coil is located on the top of the engine, near the spark plugs. It is a black plastic box with several wires connected to it.
Step 3: Remove the ignition coil
* To do this, simply disconnect the wires and unbolt the ignition coil.
Step 4: Remove the spark plug wire
* The spark plug wire is the wire that connects the ignition coil to the spark plug. To remove it, simply pull it off of the spark plug.
Step 5: Remove the old spark plug
* To do this, use a spark plug wrench to turn the spark plug counterclockwise until it comes out.
Step 6: Replace the old spark plug with a new one
