1. Locate the overdrive button. In most Hyundai vehicles, the overdrive button is located on the gearshift lever. It may be marked with the letters "O/D" or "OD Off".
2. Press the overdrive button. Pressing the overdrive button will turn off the overdrive feature, and the gearshift lever will move to the left.
3. The overdrive will be turned off when you see “O/D OFF” on the instrument panel.
4. To turn the overdrive back on, simply press the overdrive button again.
