What kind of fuel does the solar car use?

Solar cars do not directly use fuel in the traditional sense, such as gasoline or diesel, to power their engines. Instead, they rely on the energy from sunlight captured through solar panels mounted on their exteriors.

These solar panels consist of photovoltaic (PV) cells, which convert light energy into electrical energy. The electrical energy generated by the solar panels is stored in batteries and then used to power an electric motor that propels the car. So, in essence, solar cars use the energy from the sun as their "fuel."
