- Battery: Check the battery to make sure it has a full charge. A weak or dead battery will not have enough power to crank the starter motor.
- Starter relay: The starter relay is responsible for sending power from the battery to the starter motor. If the starter relay is faulty, it will not be able to complete the circuit and the starter motor will not receive power.
- Starter motor: It could be a problem with starter motor itself. The starter motor is responsible for turning over the engine. If the starter motor is faulty, it will not be able to turn the engine over and the bike will not start.
- Electrical connections: Make sure all of the electrical connections are clean and tight. Loose or corroded connections can prevent the starter motor from receiving power.
- Spark plug: Check the spark plug to make sure it is in good condition and that the gap is set correctly. A faulty spark plug will not be able to create a spark, which is necessary for the engine to start.
Additional things you can check:
- Fuel supply: Make sure that the fuel tank has fuel in it and that the fuel line is not clogged.
- Air filter: Check the air filter and make sure that it is clean. A clogged air filter can restrict air flow to the engine, which can make it difficult to start.
