2. Remove the fuel tank. This will give you access to the pickup coil.
3. Disconnect the wiring from the pickup coil. Be careful not to damage the wires.
4. Remove the mounting bolts for the pickup coil. There are two bolts that hold the pickup coil in place.
5. Lift the pickup coil out of the engine. Be careful not to drop the pickup coil.
6. Inspect the pickup coil for damage. If the pickup coil is damaged, it will need to be replaced.
7. Install the new pickup coil. Reverse the steps that you took to remove the old pickup coil.
8. Test the pickup coil. Start the engine and check to make sure that the pickup coil is working properly.
