Where is the battery and how do you remove it on a Harley Davidson sportster 1995?

1. Remove the seat by lifting it up and pulling it back.

2. Remove the negative battery cable by loosening the bolt that holds it in place.

3. Remove the positive battery cable by loosening the bolt that holds it in place.

4. Remove the battery by lifting it out of the compartment.

When reinstalling the battery, be sure to connect the positive cable first, followed by the negative cable.
