Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position. You can put your foot on the brake before turning the key to ensure that the odometer is visible The "Service" indicator should appear in the odometer display.
Press and hold the trip odometer reset button for 5-10 seconds. The "Service" indicator will then reset to "INSP" or 18000 miles.
Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position.
The oil indicator has now been reset.
