1. Gather your materials:
- Replacement battery (CR2016 3V)
- Small flathead screwdriver or key
2. Locate the key release:
- On one end of the key fob you'll see a small metal lever that says "PUSH" above it.
3. Press the key release and pull on the key:
- Press down on the metal lever and pull on the metal part of the key to remove it from the fob.
4. Carefully pry open the housing:
- Use your flathead screwdriver or key to gently pry open the two halves of the key fob.
5. Replace the battery:
- Remove the old battery and replace it with the new battery.
- Make sure the positive (+) side is facing up.
6. Snap the housing shut:
- Press the two halves of the key fob back together until they snap shut.
7. Reconnect the key to the fob:
- Slide the metal part of the key back into the fob.
- Ensure that it's securely in place.
Your key fob should now be working with the new battery.
