Peugeot 206 2.0 HDI When turning on ignition side lights are on..upon starting headlights switch even though smart disengaged..also loud noises from underneath when braking ABS fitted?

Side lights staying on:

- Check the light switch. Make sure it is fully turned off. If it is not, the side lights will stay on.

- Check the light switch stalk. Make sure it is not damaged. If it is, it may be sending a false signal to the light switch, which will cause the side lights to stay on.

- Check the wiring harness. Make sure it is not damaged. If it is, it may be causing a short circuit, which could keep the side lights on.

Headlights switching on when starting:

- Check the light switch stalk. Make sure it is not damaged. If it is, it may be sending a false signal to the light switch, which will cause the headlights to turn on.

- Check the wiring harness. Make sure it is not damaged. If it is, it may be causing a short circuit, which could turn the headlights on.

Loud noises when braking:

- Check the brake pads and rotors. Make sure they are not worn out. If they are, they could be causing the noise when braking.

- Check the wheel bearings. Make sure they are not damaged. If they are, they could also cause noise when braking.

- Check the brake fluid level. Make sure it is at the correct level. If it is low, it could cause the brakes to make a noise.

ABS fitted:

- Check the ABS module. Make sure it is not damaged. If it is, it could be causing the noise.

- Check the ABS sensors. Make sure they are not damaged or dirty. If they are, they could be sending false signals to the ABS module which will cause the noise.
