In the 2003 Cadillac Escalade, the fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank. To access the fuel pump, you will need to remove the rear seat and then remove the access cover in the floor of the vehicle.
Fuel Pump Replacement
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Remove the rear seat.
3. Remove the access cover in the floor of the vehicle.
4. Disconnect the fuel lines and electrical connectors from the fuel pump.
5. Remove the fuel pump mounting bolts or screws.
6. Remove the fuel pump from the fuel tank.
7. Install the new fuel pump in the fuel tank.
8. Replace the fuel pump mounting bolts or screws.
9. Reconnect the fuel lines and electrical connectors to the fuel pump.
10. Replace the access cover in the floor of the vehicle.
11. Reinstall the rear seat.
12. Connect the battery.
