Where is the Location of thermostat on 95 Buick Century?

The thermostat for a 1995 Buick Century is located on the front side of the engine, towards the coolant outlet pipe.

Steps to change the thermostat:

1. Park your car on a level surface.

2. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down completely.

3. Open the hood of your car.

4. Locate the thermostat housing. It's usually a circular or rectangular-shaped housing located near the top of the engine.

5. Remove the bolts holding the thermostat housing. Be careful not to spill or lose any coolant that might leak out when you remove the housing.

6. Remove the old thermostat and discard it.

7. Install the new thermostat, making sure that it's facing the correct way. The gasket should be in place between the thermostat and the housing.

8. Replace the thermostat housing and bolts. Tighten the bolts securely, making sure not to overtighten them.

9. Refill the coolant system with a 50/50 mixture of coolant and water.

10. Close the hood of your car and start the engine. Let it run for a few minutes to check for any leaks.
