How do you remove the driver door panel on a 2003 Mercedes Benz C320?

Tools needed:

- Phillips head screwdriver

- A flat edge screwdriver

- Torx 20 screwdriver

Instructions:

1. Remove the door handle screw:

- Start by removing the visible screw on the left edge of the door panel armrest.

2. Remove the window control module:

- The window control module is attached with a single TORX 20 bolt at the bottom.

- Remove it by turning the TORX bolt.

- Unplug the wiring connector from the back by pushing the small lock slider.

3. Remove the door handle trim:

- With a flat-head screwdriver, pry up the rear part of the door trim, where the mirror control module is located. Pull the entire trim towards the front of the vehicle.

- Be careful not to break any of the lock-tabs located on the back of the trim.

4. Remove the door handle:

- Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, remove the two screws holding the door handle.

- Slide the handle upwards to remove it.

5. Remove the mirror adjustment module:

- Remove the two screws on the back of the module using the TORX 20 screwdriver.

- Slide upwards and remove the module.

6. Peel back the door seal and remove the vapor barrier:

- Start by peeling back the weatherstripping (rubber door seal) near the door handle area.

- The vapor barrier is a flexible transparent plastic foil.

7. Remove the door panel:

- Use a flat edge screwdriver to pry out the door panel retaining clips.

- Start from the top and then from the bottom corners, move from one side of the door panel to the other.

- Once the clips are removed, lift up the door panel.

- Disconnect the wiring connector located on the back of the panel.
