How do you remove a Land Rover defender heater?

To remove a Land Rover defender heater, you will need the following tools:

- A Phillips head screwdriver

- A flat head screwdriver

- A socket wrench set

- A pair of pliers

- A bucket

- A funnel

- A hose clamp

1. Park the Land Rover in a level place and turn off the engine.

2. Allow the engine to cool down completely.

3. Open the hood of the Land Rover.

4. Locate the heater core. It is located on the passenger side of the engine compartment, behind the glove box.

5. Disconnect the heater hoses from the heater core. There are two hoses, one on the top and one on the bottom of the heater core. Use the pliers to loosen the hose clamps and then pull the hoses off of the heater core.

6. Remove the mounting bolts that hold the heater core in place. There are four mounting bolts, two on the top and two on the bottom of the heater core. Use the socket wrench set to remove the mounting bolts.

7. Remove the heater core from the engine compartment. Lift the heater core up and out of the engine compartment.

8. Clean the heater core. Use a hose and water to clean the heater core. Be sure to rinse the heater core thoroughly.

9. Allow the heater core to dry completely.

10. Reinstall the heater core. Place the heater core in the engine compartment and insert the mounting bolts. Tighten the mounting bolts until they are snug.

11. Reconnect the heater hoses to the heater core. Use the pliers to tighten the hose clamps.

12. Fill the radiator with coolant. Use the funnel to fill the radiator with coolant.

13. Close the hood of the Land Rover.

14. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Check for any leaks. If there are no leaks, turn off the engine and enjoy your warm Land Rover!
