1. Open the trunk.
2. Inside of trunk, lift up the carpet on the right side of trunk.
3. Under the carpet is a black plastic case with a small handle on it.
4. Unlatch the handle and lift up the plastic cover.
5. The battery is located inside of the plastic cover.
