1. Turn off the engine.
2. Place the ignition key in the position "1" (accessory position) and then press the ignition switch.
3. Slide the switch with the label SRS Off to the right until it says Off.
4. Replace the ignition key and turn it to the zero position.
5. The switch will spring back into place.

* The passenger airbag should only be switched off if a child restraint system is being used in the front passenger seat.
* It is important to remember to switch the passenger airbag back on when a child restraint system is no longer being used.
* If the passenger airbag is switched off, the dashboard warning light will be illuminated. This light will turn off when the passenger airbag is switched back on.
