2. Loosen the serpentine belt tensioner by turning the adjustment bolt counterclockwise.
3. Remove the old serpentine belt by slipping it off the pulleys.
4. Route the new serpentine belt around the pulleys, starting with the crankshaft pulley.
5. Make sure that the serpentine belt is routed correctly around all of the pulleys.
6. Tension the serpentine belt by turning the adjustment bolt clockwise until the belt is snug.
7. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
8. Check the serpentine belt tension again and adjust it if necessary.
