Park your vehicle in a safe location and turn off the engine.
You should also engage the parking brake.
Locate the headlight assembly that needs to be replaced.
The headlight assembly is located behind the front bumper of the S-10.
Remove the bolts that hold the headlight assembly in place.
There will be two bolts that hold the headlight assembly in place. You can use a ratchet or wrench to remove these bolts.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the headlight assembly.
There will be an electrical connector that is attached to the back of the headlight assembly. You can use a flathead screwdriver to release the connector.
Remove the headlight assembly from the vehicle.
You can now carefully remove the headlight assembly from the vehicle.
Install the new headlight assembly.
Insert the new headlight assembly into the vehicle and reconnect the electrical connector.
Replace the bolts that hold the headlight assembly in place.
You can now tighten the bolts that hold the headlight assembly in place.
Test the headlight assembly.
Turn on the headlights and check that they are both working properly.
