1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Open the hood and remove the negative battery cable.
3. Wait 30 seconds.
4. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
5. Turn on the ignition.
6. The ABS and traction lights should be reset.
If the ABS and traction lights do not reset, there may be a problem with the ABS system or traction control system. In this case, you will need to have the car diagnosed by a qualified mechanic.
