How do you change a clutch cable on peugeot 206?

Tools:

- 10mm spanner

- 13mm spanner

- 17mm spanner

- Flat-head screwdriver

- Pliers

- Cable cutters

- New clutch cable

Instructions:

1. Park your car on a level surface and turn off the engine. Engage the parking brake.

2. Locate the clutch cable. It is located near the top of the engine bay, near the firewall.

3. Loosen the 10mm bolt that holds the clutch cable to the clutch lever.

4. Remove the cable from the lever.

5. Loosen the 17mm bolt that holds the clutch cable to the transmission.

6. Remove the cable from the transmission.

7. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry the clutch cable out of its housing.

8. Use pliers to cut the old cable.

9. Feed the new clutch cable through the housing.

10. Attach the new cable to the transmission and tighten the 17mm bolt.

11. Attach the new cable to the clutch lever and tighten the 10mm bolt.

12. Test the new clutch cable by pressing down on the clutch pedal. The pedal should move smoothly and engage the clutch.
