In Texas, a recreational vehicle (RV) is defined as a motor vehicle that is designed and used for temporary living quarters for travel, recreation, and other noncommercial use, and that:
1. Is at least 10 feet long and has a bed, a kitchen, and a toilet;
or
2. Is of the camper trailer or motor home type.
The term "recreational vehicle" does not include a passenger car or a truck.
